Introducing our blog facilitator, Rebecca Lockwood

Rebecca has been with Forty Carrots' parenting programs as a Parent Educator for three years. She has worked in each component of our programs including in-house classes, teenage classes, substance abuse facilities, and our county libraries. Additionally, she worked one year as a toddler teacher in the Preschool at Forty Carrots. Rebecca has helped a wide range of families solve a wide range of issues from discipline to sleep to toileting. Rebecca is currently completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a child/family concentration. In addition to her work at Forty Carrots, she is the JV Girl’s Basketball Coach at Riverview High School. In the past, she has done clinical work with children on the autistic spectrum at a summer camp, with veterans and their families in the VA and at a college counseling center. Rebecca and her husband have been married for 6 years and have a 3 year old daughter and a 3 month old baby girl.
